Fun with Our Girls!

Jeryme has been working non stop with school and is doing AMAZING! I am not surprised one bit! He is such an awesome man! I am very blessed! We finally had a weekend together so we headed to Tulsa, OK to pick up our sweet Dixie on a Friday! My sweet Momma drove her up to meet us half way! We were blessed to see a lot of our family on this trip, we saw my Aunt Dee, my nieces NaeeNaee and Cora, we stayed at my cousin Kelly's house and had a cookout with my cousin Boo's entire family! It was a joy to be able to see everyone! Jeryme even got to run away to a Gun Show without us! He bought a gun he has been wanting for a really long time and he sure deserved it! We headed back to Kansas together as a family on Sunday! I can't even begin to tell you how fabulous it is to have all 4 of us in the same car! I'm so ready to have that all the time again!

We had a big week planned for Dixie here in Kansas!
We missed her so much and just wanted to cram every second with fun stuff to do!
Monday: I took Dixie to the American Girl store where she got her 1st doll "Saige"! Dixie was so happy, she also had to get the brush and an extra outfit. We then went on the carousel ride (Lexie's favorite thing to do)! Dixie rode the dragon and Lexie actually rode on the zebra this time! We then went shopping at Wal-Mart and bought Dixie some new clothes! So of course by this time we were all shopped out! We went to pick Daddy up at school and then went to "5 Guy's Burger's and Fries" Yummy! And one more carousel ride to finish the day!
Tuesday: We started the day early with a breakfast with a sweet friend Jamie! Her son Truan played for the Anchorage BUCS baseball team about 9 years ago and my folks hosted him for the two years he played! After a great visit we headed downtown to the Sea Life Aquarium. Amazing and beautiful fish! Lexie really enjoyed it. Afterwards we went to lunch at a place called "Fritz's" They actually serve the food to you by train! So Cool!
Wednesday: We started the day with a movie at the theater! "Escape from Planet Earth"! Such a cute movie! Then we went to get Dixie's hair trimmed! A little longer than her shoulders, she loves it and looks so cute! After that we went to Chuck E Cheese, that was an adventure on spring break! Wow! So many kids! And of course when it was time to leave, mine didn't want to! My cousin's from Valliant, Bruce, Rachel, Roman, Deacon, Clint, Brenda and Ashlynn came to town for some vacation fun! We went to their hotel for COLD pool swimming and had dinner together at Denny's!
Thursday: We went to the hotel our family was staying at and picked up a car full and headed to St. Joseph, MO! We went to the Pony Express Museum which was amazing! It was totally kid friendly and everyone loved it! Then we headed to the Patee House Museum and Jesse James House! Lexie was having nothing to do with it but run around like crazy and this was NOT a place for little ones! So by the time everyone was ready to go I was really really happy! After the long day we headed home and where all happy to see Daddy!

 "Lexie loved playing Dress Up!"
"The kids wanted to take an old fashion picture (notice no smiles)"

Friday: Me and the girl's went to Union Station in downtown Kansas City! What a gorgeous place! We really enjoyed all the old architecture and just the massiveness of such a beautiful place and of course the trains! Then we met with Brenda, Rachel and the kids at Legoland! Legoland was another one not age appropriate for Lexie, but the older kid's had a blast! So it was well worth it! Afterwards I was worn out so we headed home and got some BBQ take out with Daddy!

"One interest at Legoland, only lasted 5 minutes though!"

Saturday: The morning I was dreading! Dixie was going back to Oklahoma so she could go to school Monday! Aunt Brenda and Clint took Dixie back for us, which we really appreciated. But it was so hard to let her go! I am so excited that we only have ONE more week here in Kansas!
Then I can have my family back for good!
This week is going to be a tough one for my sweet husband! He will do amazing as always! His BIG Final is Wednesday and then Thursday he has an Interview with someone from BNSF for the 3 positions he applied for! Please be in prayer with us that God will take us where he wants us!
We love you all so much!

School for Jeryme

So I want to brag on my hubby a little bit! He has been working so hard in school! 2 weeks are finished, and 4 more to go! It is full full time and a lot of work, but he is doing amazing! He goes to school around 7:30 and is there until 5:00, he comes home and we have dinner together and then it is homework until he goes to bed! There are a lot of rules he has to actually memorize also. The Railroad is no joke! He has a test every single day and a final at the end of the week. He is in a class of 8 and they are all doing really well. For the 1st three weeks the teacher will award the highest gpa for the week! Well after a lot of work and a full week of testing Jeryme had achieved the highest gpa of 98%! So he won a hat!

"My handsome hubby in his NARS hat!"

I am so thankful to have such a wonderful supportive husband! He is willing to do whatever it takes to take care of our little family! I am so blessed! I have enjoyed being here with him and spending time with Lexie! She doesn't like being stuck in a tiny hotel room but I try to keep her busy! I found a mall with a really cute carousel and play area, she really enjoyed that! But I think the germs got the best of her since the next day she came down with a really bad cold. 3 days later with a stuffy nose and high fever we are headed to the doctor! Dixie is doing great spending time with Nannee and Papa and her Aunts, Unlces and cousins. We talk to her every night and I will go get her on the 15th and bring her back to Kansas! YAY! Looking forward to our family being complete again!

"Lexie on the carousel ride, she loved it"

We love you all and miss our family and friends so much! Thanks for the support, and prayers are always appreciated! Job interviews to come and we ask Heavenly Father to
guide our family and put us where he wants us!

"TRAVEL"
I am not so sure how to use the blogging system! But I am going to try! I love staying in contact with my precious family and friends! And I must admit, talking about my hubby and two sweet daughters is my most favorite thing to do! :)
We have been so busy these past few months! We moved out of Alaska at the end of January. We sent Dixie to start school in Valliant, OK so that she would not have to change so many schools in our crazy schedule! She is loving every second of
school and time with her Papa and Nannee!
We started our move by going to Fairbanks and spending our last few days with our sweet Hardman's, Katy, Shaine and Shaily! Jeryme left before Lexie and I, he headed down driving the car with Nick. When they left it was -52 degrees! BRRR!!! Lexie and I flew to Idaho a few days later and met Jeryme and Nick there! We spent a few days with family in Idaho! It was so nice to see so many siblings and precious neices and nephews while we were there! Mom and Dad Hardman flew down also, and it was so nice to see them too! We headed out and stopped in Utah and visited a couple sets of wonderful AK friends that had recently moved. The drive to Oklahoma was beautiful! It makes you stop and realize how beautiful our country is and how amazing our Heavenly Father is to create such a unique and different world just for us to love and enjoy! We made it to Oklahoma just in time for me to
take Dixie on a field trip in Dallas! We had so much fun and
I loved being back with my precious baby girl!

We were so happy to get to see our nephews Deran, Michael & Timothy on our drive out!
Jeryme climed to the top of the hill/mountain under the Arch in Utah!

Me and my beautiful Dixie on her field trip!

We spent a couple of weeks in Oklahoma with my family and Dixie. We were even blesssed to spend an amazing 24 hours with Devan and his precious family! We headed out on February 17th for Jeryme to start school at Johnson County Community College in the NARS program! We are staying in an extended stay (Chase Suite Hotels) in Overland Park Kansas! About 9 hours away from Valliant. It is a small efficiency apartment. Very small for our little tornado, but we are making it work! Jeryme started school and is doing so wonderful! He amazes me every single day! He has made over a 93% on each test, 3 of which he has scored 100%! He goes every day, M-F, (and the next 3 Saturdays) from 8-5 and does not get done with homework until it is time to go to sleep! He tests every day! He is such a smart man and I am so very proud of him and so thankful for
all that he is doing for our little family!

Devan, Corina, Chloe, (My new baby) Brooklyn and our girls!
My amazing parents and Dixie! Dan and Brenda Blackard!

We are so grateful for all that is happening in our lives!
God is so great to our family! I love each of you so much!
